A 1997 graduate of DeSales High School, Amy played on DeSales’ very first girl’s lacrosse team and was chosen to the inaugural Finger Lakes Girls lacrosse league all-star team. She was a three-time captain of the lacrosse team and also lettered in basketball and soccer. Amy overcame a serious knee injury sustained during her junior year and through her hard work and perseverance earned a scholarship to Mercyhurst.

Amy had a remarkable career at Mercyhurst that saw her named to the Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II All-American first-team her senior year. Her career totals of 99 goals, 113 assists and 212 points ranks 1st on Mercyhurst’s all-time list. She averaged 3.13 assists per game to lead all Division I and II players her senior year. Amy set a single-season record with 50 assists and 71 points and also set a school record with seven assists in one game. Amy helped lead Mercyhurst to an 11-5 record her senior year and a No. 6 ranking in the final poll. Amy graduated from Mercyhurst in 2001 with a degree in Accounting. Amy was inducted into the Mercyhurst Hall of Fame in 2009.
