A three-year starter in goal for Geneva High, Adam was an all-league selection all three years. He was the 1996 Section V tournament MVP while helping lead the Panthers to the sectional title. Adam also played on Geneva’s very first ice hockey tea and led the team in scoring in his junior year. In his senior year he was named second team all-league.
Adam went to RIT where he had a stellar career in goal. He was a two-time Division III Lacrosse All-American and a three-time Super Six all-conference selection. Adam broke RIT’s single season record for saves with 249 his junior year and broke it again with 274 his senior year. He is currently RIT’s career leader in most saves (884), highest save percentage (.642), games played (56), and minutes played (3,157). He is in the top ten in several other categories. He was a member of the 1999 team that reached the Final Four in the NCAA tournament. In 2000, his senior year, he was named to the Division III North-South game. In 2000 he was also named the RIT Senior Athlete of the Year. Adam played for the Rochester Rattlers professional lacrosse team in 2001 and is currently the goalie coach at RIT.
