A record breaking swimmer, Jackie capped off her career by earning the distinction of being the first female swimmer from Geneva High to qualify for state-level swimming competition. A five-year letterwinner, Jackie was a member of two school record setting relays and set individual school records in three different events. Jackie earned All-League honors her sophomore, junior years and senior years. In her senior year, Jackie finished first in the 100 breaststroke at the Finger Lakes Championships and the Section V Class B Championships. Her school record of 1:08.85 still stands today. She went on to the NY State Championship where she finished 9th. Jackie was recognized as an Academic All-American her senior year and was named the GHS Athlete of the Year.

Jackie continued her academic and athletic excellence at William Smith where she lettered in swimming and lacrosse. In lacrosse, she was named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team her sophomore and junior years. Her senior year she was received all-league, all-region and all-state honors. In swimming she was named to the NYSWCAA All-Academic Team her sophomore year. She graduated Cum Laude from William Smith in 2003.
