Inducted Inaugural Class of 1990
Paul was an outstanding athlete at Geneva High where he starred in football, basketball, and lacrosse. He was captain of the football team his senior year and was chosen to the All-State football team. He was also named to the All-State lacrosse team in 1923 when Geneva High won the state title in lacrosse. Paul continued to make headlines at Hobart College in football, basketball, and lacrosse. He was captain and 3rd-team All-American in football and All-American as an attack man in lacrosse. He was a dominant player who helped his team to winning records.
After graduation, he acted as assistant football and freshman lacrosse coach for eight years and was involved in scouting until the early 1950s. He served as a Hobart trustee from 1948 to 1968. Paul was also involved in many Geneva civic activities and served as a Geneva City councilman for many years.
